Taking the painting of Ophelia by Millais as a given personal favourite one notes a Robin perched in the branches of a fallen willow to the left of the composition and given the opportunity to capture a deceased Robin myself this painting continues in that vain. It constitutes one of a body of dead bird watercolours begun with the first Covid19 lockdown back in 2020.
