This is a painting of my sister, Jackie, that I undertook as part of the SkyArts Portrait Artist of the Year final in 2024. We knew at that time that Jackie was dying from terminal brain cancer and only had a matter of months left. When I made it to the final I knew it had to be her I painted for my ‘loved one’ commission. Jackie died on Jan 4th 2025. This painting is my tribute to her.
