This piece is an amalgamation of Saadats sketches in his personal drawing book. The patterns and shapes are inspired by the traditional Mughal and Islamic art he admired growing up.Inside the cube, a Persian word Aman has been soldered using a wire which means peace. In the age of machine and technology, Saadat thoroughly enjoys practicing traditional techniques like hand sawing, soldering and patina to create meticulously hand crafted pieces using materials like metal, wood and bone. However, the challenge for him is be patient and to trust the process.
