The old clinker fishing boat lies in the bright coastal sunlight in Derek Jarmans garden on the shingle bank at Dungeness. All that remains is the exposed and rotting timber frame and a few rusting engine parts but the thriving plants and wheelbarrow, standing ready, suggest that life and activity still goes on.
