Using a series of layers consisting of different types of media to describe the earth and how mans consistent use of it erodes the ecological balance. Starting with thin washes of acrylic ink and building up to textural areas, each mark is a deliberate attempt to convey the constant adding and subtracting of our natural world. My work is a perpetual pull and push of rhythmic marks using colour to convey mood.
