The 733 series is a suburban AC train that was introduced in 2012, and is based on the previously introduced 731 series, with the introduction of new technology and specifications that support barrier-free access. The 733-3000 series was introduced in 2014 with the aim of easing congestion during rush hour and improving the comfort of the “Airport” rapid train.
