Painting portraits of my partner feels like therapy, the act of posing/observation has something that raises our sometimes troubled relationship onto a new level. This portrait made me understand how I accept him as a human being and how much painting somebody changes my relationship with them, takes all judgement away and makes me see them as a whole.
